TAG Heuer Carrera McLaren 1974 Edition
Having sponsored the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England since 2011, TAG Heuer recently signed a new three-year agreement as the Official Timing Partner for the event and has just released a new timepiece to mark the occasion. The TAG Heuer Carrera McLaren 1974 edition celebrates 40 years since Brazilian racer Emerson Fittipaldi first won a world title for McLaren at the event.
Largely based on the Carrera 1887 Ceramic Bezel, the watch features a 43mm case with a white watch face and black gold finishes on the hands, themselves powered by a CH1887 movement. Its custom watch band is appropriately patterned after tire traction patterns and combined with the sleek silver finish, gives the watch a distinctly sporty feel.
No official word on pricing yet but expect the limited edition watch to cost around £4,500 GBP (approximately $7,640 USD) when it releases in September.
