The Hilfiger Denim Spring/Summer 2015 collection, Heartland, is inspired by an All-American road trip across the United States. Heading off the beaten path, the collection travels from desert and mountain terrains to stunning coastal vistas – visiting some of the most picturesque, unique and quirky spots in the country. This exploration of America’s midland embraces the outdoors to the fullest, resulting in surplus, maritime and military influences combined with Hilfiger Denim’s signature rock ‘n’ roll twist.
From the entire collection this blue suede bomber jacket really stood out to me and i had to have it. It's the perfect combination of style and sophistication! Tommy Hilfiger and I are pleased to announce the launch of People’s Place Originals Collection. Its name and overarching inspiration pay homage to People’s Place, the first store Tommy Hilfiger opened as a teenager along with two friends in his hometown of Elmira, New York. For Spring 2015, the collection is influenced by Tommy’s lifelong passion for music, iconic rock-and-roll imagery, and Hilfiger Denim’s “prep with an edge” spirit. The pieces like the one that i am wearing reference the eclectic spirit of New York City’s music scene in the ‘70s, from album cover art to tour posters, celebrating a sense of individuality and reflects some of the iconic imagery that’s at the heart of rock music.”
I am lucky enough to already have the best T-Shirt from the collection. I wear it and feel like I just came out of my favorite band’s concert. There’s an easygoing attitude that comes with it. Plus, grey is one of my favorite colours. I styled it off with my favorite biker jacket and jeans was the obvious way, right? It’s an all-day, simple outfit that combines all-time classic items like your favorite pair of old, washed-out jeans, the second-hand biker jacket that you just had to have from that open-air market somewhere in Europe and a t-shirt that’s about cool music and having fun. Top that off with your favorite wool beanie for the cold days and it’s a go! Also remember, denim and tshirts will always be ‘a thing’! One last thing! Make sure you choose your favorite piece from the People Place’s Collection while listening to David Bowie’s ‘Life in Mars’! You just have to!

Legendary fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger has allowed photographer Douglas Friedman into his Miami home to capture the tastefully designed space. Although many may think Hilfiger’s home would have a strong sense of vintage Americana, the truth is quite the opposite as conservative and clean spaces are livened up with bright splashes of color and pattern and decorated with iconic pieces such as Basquiat paintings. The interior embraces motifs of ’60s to ’70s pop culture and we see an exquisite silver Mickey Mouse standing imposingly in the clean white foyer.
