My Life

I live somewhere between Athens & London. I don't have kids, neither I am married. I run my business and work long hours. I love travelling and I travel a lot! I go out for dinner. I love coffee and wine. I like to dress up but I love also walking around the city casual, even if you can't believe it.

Morning Habits

The first thing I want in the morning is a great cup of coffee.That first cup of coffee definitely gets my brain going and, like many, I do some of my most creative and productive work . However, early morning caffeine jolts can make my stomach acidic and gives me a jangly energy. I’ve started drinking green juice every morning.

I hate Sitting

Sitting is one of the worst byproducts of modern urban life. It’s horrible for my back and circulation and yours as well. I try to take some of my calls on my feet.

I Try To Stay Hydrated

The key is a big vessel. I drink out of large mason jars. Just put a post-it on your desk that says “drink water or feel like shit.”

Late Night You Will Find Me on My Screen

We all know the studies about screens & sleep. Sending emails and watching Netflix from bed is pretty enjoyable. Sure, it would be great to never look at a screen after 9 p.m. But, realistically, I simply try to create a short period between the time the computer and phone goes away and when I actually go to sleep. Sex is best, but reading is also acceptable.

Maison Margiela Opens Its First Rome Boutique

Maison Margiela makes landfall in Rome with the opening of its first retail space in the Eternal City. Situated on Via del Babuino between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna, the boutique spans 295 square meters and is based on a mirror effect, being outfitted with reflective surfaces to create vanishing volumes and perspectives. The remaining walls are plastered with shots of the Haussmann interiors of Parisian apartment buildings, while the rest of the interior is finished with white marble, oak and chrome steel. The two floors of the boutique are divided between menswear and womenswear, alongside sections for accessories, design objects, and two suites dedicated to footwear.

Modern Classic

Classic doesnt mean old fashion. And thats what Gentlemans Diary Magazine represents. Classic values but with a modern twist. New shapes, initiative cuts and rich colors. For this outfit post i chose white pants and a blue boudle breasted jacket. But my favorite item was the shoes. An item from the Converse X Maison Martin Margiela Collaboration. A hand painted converse that when you where it it chracks out differently and becomes unique. Your style?

The newest Converse Maison Martin Margiela First String collection extends the original evolving white overpaint concept with the Converse All Star Chuck ‘70 and Converse Jack Purcell sneakers in ultra-soft premium leather. The buttery leather transforms the sneakers’ interior and exterior for luxury and comfort, while the collaboration’s pure white hand-painted upper emphasises the simple beauty and silhouette of the iconic footwear.

The more the Converse Maison Martin Margiela sneakers are worn, the more the overpaint loosens its hold, elegantly cracking to reveal the hidden, bold colour. Original heritage colourways from the Converse archives are slowly revealed through four distinct styles: Amber Glow and True Navy with the Converse All Star Chuck ’70 and Azure Blue and Biking Red with the Converse Jack Purcell. The sneaker also features the discreet yet distinguishable Maison Martin Margiela logo on the tongue, and both silhouettes are accented with painted and non-painted lace options.

Converse First String is a limited edition collection that celebrates craftsmanship, authenticity and collaboration at the highest level. Maison Martin Margiela x MYKITA Collection

This season Maison Martin Margiela and Berlin-based MYKITA come together for a brand new collection of eyewear that draws on their shared penchant for minimalist aesthetics. The Spring/Summer 2014 collaboration consists of two distinct collections: “Essential” and “Dual.” While the monochrome “Essential” range boasts stainless steel frames with thick, transparent powder coats – thus giving them convex, all-enveloping bodies – the “Dual” release is marked by two pairs of acetate frames that were then divided into pairs, deconstructed, and then transplanted into four separate styles. Offering 10 unisex styles in all, the Maison Martin Margiela x MYKITA eyewear is now available at select MYKITA shops in limited quantities.
