Yves Saint Laurent is one of the most influential fashion designers of all time. He launched his own label in the 1960s and became famous for such iconic pieces as his ‘le smoking’ tuxedo for women, the Mondrian dress and velvet Knickerbocker suits. Over the following decades, Saint Laurent’s style would continue to influence the fashion world. For those reasons when I saw this perfect grey double breasted jacket I had to have it. You can wear it with a formal way but you can dress it down as well with a T'-Shirt and a pair of jeans. For myself it is a piece that the modern gentleman needs to have and to invest in.
Packing for summer vacation is a more difficult endeavor than it seems at the first glance. It would be much easier to wear nothing but your favorite shorts, a pair of flip flops and a cotton t-shirt, but if you want to travel as an adult man instead as a decayed college student in a drinking adventure, you will need much more than that. Being fashionable is not just a “girls’ thing”, it is something that men should strive for, no matter if they are going to an opera night or a walk in the park. This year’s vacation is the perfect opportunity to finally get a grasp of this fashion thing and gear up with all the right pieces.
Begin with picking up this season ultimate item and it is nothing else than the white jeans! It is the easiest item to style it and very difficult you can go wrong with it. To be safe I chose a classic pair of suede boots and a suede brown tshirt that gave me this extra stylish thing that I wanted to achieve! Do not forget to pack a nice black pair of sunglasses as well that goes with everything!
Hey Guys!
I just wanted to share with you in this post my latest obsession! And it is nothing else than this amazing YSL pair of sunglasses that stole my heart! A special pair of sunglasses that they gonna help you make a fashion statement for sure!
I paired with an easy outfit from ASOS and my classic pair of YSL boots.
A good overcoat should be warm, fit you, and make you look great.
Fabric. If you plan to wear your overcoat for years to come, make sure you buy a coat that is made of 100% wool and that it weighs at least 4 pounds (for average-sized men). In general, heavier coats last longer because the fabric is more durable.
Sleeves. The coat sleeves should completely cover the suit sleeve as well as the shirt cuff, and even reach a little further down. This way, you should not get cold on your wrists when you wear gloves with it.
Length. Traditionally, overcoats were rather long-reaching garments, extending almost all the way to the ankles. These full-length coats are often the coat of choice for seasoned gentlemen as they can compliment a wide range of figures…to include those of us a bit rounder in the midsection.
Today, most younger men wear their coats knee-length, which is anywhere between the lower part of the knee to slightly above. This only compliments men with trim builds and who wear the coat closer to the body. It’s a convenient option if you find yourself entering and exiting your automobile multiple times a day.
If you pick a full-length or knee-length coat is a matter of choice, but bear in mind that the full-length coat may be warmer, and can make you look a little more seasoned than the knee-length coat.
Fit. When you buy an overcoat, make sure to wear a shirt and a sportscoat or suit jacket because the coat has to fit on top of it.
Some men like a looser fit while younger men often prefer a trimmer fit. However, if you see X-wrinkles when buttoning your overcoat, it is definitely too
Spring is around the corner. And it was time to search for another pair of sunglasses in order to beat the sunshine. Searching for the perfect pair of sunglasses, I found the one that I fell completely in love with them. And it is a pair of YSL sunglasses. The color, the shape, the design, everything on them felt like you need them! So, I did! I bought them.
During my last trip in London for the International launch of house99 by David Beckham, they were like my best friend. I didn't even need to take with me a second pair because they suit with all my outfits.
Go check them and do not hesitate to text me if you need some extra tips.
The Rockstar. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, he started his musical career while still attending Brentwood High School; the front man and primary songwriter of a band which would later become the award-winning, chart-topping legends: Maroon 5.
The Entertainer. Frequently lighting up our screens, he is a coach on the three-time Emmy Award winning NBC hit series, The Voice, and has also appeared in Family Guy; 30 Rock and American Horror Story. Charismatic, endearing and enthusiastic, he’s the guy you’d want as your brother, your wing-man, who looks like he’d be fun to hang out with, because guess what, he is.
The Style Setter. Unapologetically real, always true to himself, his authentic All-American rockstar style is unaffected by trends but always on-point. Unafraid to try something new, whether it’s bleached blonde hair with dark roots or jet black all-over, and with tattoos pretty much everywhere, his natural good looks convey an attitude that’s cool yet uncontrived.

The Saint Laurent flagship store in Paris recently underwent a significant renovation, representing a bit of a departure from the minimalist design aesthetic of most of its other retail spaces. The opulent space features the same black and white marble palette and chrome finishings seen throughout most of its stores, with added details in the form of Art Deco finishings and a collection of African masks. The space also acts as a design museum of sorts, with items from the permanent collection and accessories showcased throughout the space, along with furnishings by Jacques Adnet, Théo Ruth, André Sornay and Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann by Alfred Porteneuve. The store is located at 38 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, and would be worth a visit if you are in the Paris area.
